Terms and Conditions
Damage or Loss
Notification of any complaint regarding an order must be made within 2 days of receipt of goods. The company cannot accept any liability regarding shortages or loss after this period.
Minimum Order Value for Trade Discount
Strictly £20 NETT, unless cash with order to include packing and carriage. Orders under £20 NETT supplied at retail.
NB Pre-contractual Conditions of Sale
1. All orders are accepted on the basis of prices ruling at the time of despatch.
2. All delivery items are subject to the availability of materials and services.
3. We do not accept any responsibility for failure of services or circumstances beyond our control.
4. Delivery times are given in good faith and we cannot guarantee or accept responsibility for timed and dated deliveries where carried by third parties.
5. We cannot be held accountable for any charges or compensation wherein we have not given prior agreement for services provided due to late delivery.
6. All goods remain the property of Lesco Products Ltd. until invoices in respect of those goods are settled in full.
New Accounts
Proforma invoice for first order or credit A/C after credit application with references cleared to agreed limit.
Fully authenticated Credit or Purchase Cards are accepted (UK Mainland ONLY).
NEW Packing and Carriage Charges (Effective as of 01/02/2008)
Standard Carriage of £14.95 NETT (for order value up to £2,500.00 NETT) U.K. mainland; Carriage charge £55.00 NETT (for order value between £2,501 and £5,000 NETT); Carriage charge £199.00 NETT (for order value of £5,001 and above).
We reserve the right to charge full cost of carriage on consignments as and when notified. Overnight charge, under 25kgs £15.00 NETT. Over 25kgs when requested at cost. "Timed deliveries and A.M. deliveries by arrangement at cost." Full carriage is chargeable on all offshore orders including Channel Isles, Isle of Wight, Isle of Mann and N.I.
Special Delivery Charges
Furniture, Glass and items over 2 meters in length:
Due to the need for additional packaging, carriers size and weight regulations, the possible need for truck tail lift and two operatives plus carriers charges, consignments will be charged per pallet. A carriage charge of £55.00 NETT per pallet is applicable as and when notified.
Site Delivery
All goods delivered as directed to customers site are not treated as delivered to customers own premises. It is the responsibility of the customer to sign for receipt and check for conformity. Lesco will consider signed paperwork as proof of delivery. All goods signed for in good order will cancel any future claim for damage at any time. Lesco do not accept responsibility for any damage claim after time of delivery. There is a £2.50 charge for notification of delivery to customers site.
Return of Goods
Goods which have been correctly supplied and despatched by the Company in accordance with a customers order but which the customer no longer wishes to retain may only be returned after the approval of a Director of Lesco Products Limited has been sought and granted. Application to return correctly supplied goods must be made within 7-10 days of receipt of goods. A 15% handling charge of list price is made for re-stocking or a minimum charge of £15.00 NETT. Collection will be an extra charge. Estimate of cost for such collections can be given. On acceptance goods must be returned or made available for collection within 7-10 days. All goods can only be accepted if in original packaging and in re-saleable condition.
"Goods which are deemed specials and have been manufactured especially to such order specification are non-returnable".
Samples
These are sent as chargeable goods to be credited on return. Goods returned within 30 days which are in a re-saleable condition and original packaging are credited in full.
Samples retained after 30 days will be charged unless prior arrangement is made for the extension of the loan period. Only samples returned in a re-saleable condition and original packaging will be credited. We reserve the right to charge for shortages and damaged goods in full. Samples retained after 90 days we undertake to negotiate a purchase value.
Specials
Non standard items needing special manufacture will be undertaken on the receipt of a written order. Once manufacture has commenced we cannot accept cancellation for any reason. A pre-payment may be required to undewright the manufacture.

Standard Terms
Strictly nett monthly. End of month following date of invoice. We reserve the right to charge interest in accordance with ‘The Late Payment of Commercial Debts (interest) Act 1998.
Amendment 7/8/2002 at the rate set within that Act on all orders exceeding agreed terms.
Variation
All rights reserved to improve, vary, change or up date any specification contained in sales literature.
Variation of Terms and Conditions of Sale
These terms and conditions can only be varied, altered or changed in writing by a Director of the Company. No employee of the Company has the authority to vary, add or amend any of the above terms and conditions.
VAT
All prices are subject to VAT.
Aborted Delivery
If delivery address supplied is incomplete or the delivery is refused for any reason and our carrier has to put the delivery on hold. We will charge for holds and re-delivery costs in full to you.
Cancellation
No order may be cancelled by a customer without our consent in writing. Lesco reserves the right to claim all loss and expenses which may be incurred as a result of cancellation.
Overdue Accounts
Where an account exceeds the agreed terms of credit or payment, notification will be sent in the form of a letter that goods will be withheld until such time as payments are made to bring the account up to date. We understand and will exercise our statutory right to interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (interest) Act 1998 if we are not paid according to agreed credit terms.

Installation
LESCO offer a Fully Insured and Competitively Priced Installation Service. Charged at £25.00 NETT per man per hour - Between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday as a guide. Evenings Monday to Friday only are charged at £37.50 NETT per man per hour. Weekends are charged at £50.00 NETT per man per hour - Traveling time is chargeable at the same rate. All Vehicles, Toll's, Equipment, Fixings and Waste Disposal are included. LESCO are an Installer Only and as such are not responsible for making good the fabric of the building. *Please insure that we are notified of any Delivery Procedure / Security Procedure / Parking Arrangements / Area Clearing / Health and Safety Rules / Installation Restrictions at Site that may cause Delay to Works commencing, as this could lead to further charges. In some cases it may be necessary for LESCO to use a Third party installer.
